Therapists Staff: Specialized psychiatrist for children and youth, clinical psychologists, clinical social workers, art therapists.
 
The clinic, which is located at 7 Echad Ha'am St., Haifa, is branched to the Children and Youth Division of the Maale Hacramel Mental Health Center, which is a governmental regional psychiatric hospital. The clinic treats children and adolescents, aged 6-18.
 
The service objectives: Providing professional mental health care to children and youth from Haifa, Kiryat Tivon, and the Krayot.
 
The types of problems we address:

• Situations of physical, emotional or sexual abuse
• Aggression control difficulties
• Suicidal thoughts
• Irritating habits and rituals
• Trauma and crisis situations
• Incontinence and dirtiness
• Separation difficulties and over-dependence
• Frequent absences from school
• Difficulties in adapting to frameworks
• Loss of interest and energy
• Doubts about self-identity
• Psychiatric conditions
• Depressive states
• ADHD
• Communication Disorders (on the autistic spectrum) - contingent upon an agreement with the insuring HMO.
• Diagnosing Autism - contingent upon an agreement with the insuring HMO

Services provided:

• Preliminary evaluation (intake) and design of a comprehensive treatment program
• Individualized therapy through play or talks (according to the child's age and needs)
• Therapeutic parent guidance (divorced parents have the option of separate instruction).
• Therapy groups (for parents, children)
• Therapy groups through extreme sports (adolescents)
• Therapeutic mentoring at the applicant's home
• Art and drama therapy
• Psychiatric follow-up as needed
• Full psychological diagnosis (intelligence and personality) 

Treatment language: The clinic's management invests efforts in matching the treatment language to the patient. Currently there are therapists at the station who speak Hebrew, Arabic, Russian and Spanish. However, language matching cannot be guaranteed.
 
Referral method: Referral may be made by professional entities or by self-application. The acceptance process requires filling out a questionnaire, which is an application form that can be obtained from the clinic's secretaries.
 
Average waiting period: Initial intake (initial evaluation) two weeks after receipt of the application. Treatment initiation depends on the urgency of the case and the type of treatment provided. 

Academic Training: The station is recognized for internship in in clinical psychology by the Health ministry.

 
The station is recognized by academic institutions as a training site for graduate students in clinical psychology, clinical social work and art therapy. The students join for a period of one academic year and take part in the station's work.
